Uncle Wiggily, the gentleman Bunny Rabbit, is excited that Thanksgiving is right around the corner. He asks his housekeeper to make a pumpkin pie and she replies that she will be happy to do so but that he must supply the pumpkin. "A big one" she adds because she knows how much Uncle Wiggily loves pumpkin pie. He and his friend Butters, the goat, find a really big one but the adventures start when it escapes and rolls down the hill along with both of them. Many adventures follow, including being chased by an alligator and riding in an ice boat that turns into an ice boat-plane!
As always, Uncle Wiggily is a gentleman throughout everything, even when Fox and Bear try to lure him into a cave to "nibble his ears". Don't worry, all of the animals escape from danger and enjoy the winter season along with their favorite Uncle, Uncle Wiggily.
