If there are Twelve Days of Christmas
There must be Twelve Knights!
Our new read-along_book introduces a new cast
of characters to the Santa Clause Family.
The story is reminiscent of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland
and has the dramatic appeal of the Wizard of Oz.
The Twelve Knights- A Christmas Adventure tells all about the knights and the experience of Sarah and Christopher, homeless nine year old orphan twins, have with them. The children’s only wish is to have a mother and father of their own. Whether through quirk of fate or fairy glamour, they are magically whisked from their quaint nineteenth century surroundings to Christmas Land.
Pernicia, an evil biker witch flies about the countryside on her Harley-Hoover vacuum, and Pigwigon, a bad elf toy maker, both hate Christmas and anything to do with it. They have already created quite a bit of havoc to disrupt the holiday. The nasty pair think the twins are trying to undo their mischief and relentlessly pursue them.
But don’t despair! With the help of the Twelve Knights and the other eccentric inhabitants of Christmas Land, the twins thwart the evil duo. As the adventures end, Santa Clause returns the twins to their home town where they are found by a loving, childless couple who adopt them.
There are many other extraordinary characters in Christmas Land. Including: a polka-dotted dinosaur, whose colors change with his emotions; a Treeman lumber jack; a knight in candy cane armor; a wizard who is the one thousand and first Arabian knight; a hip-hop bat; a mechanical politician made of brass; star herders; lots of elves and even pirates.
Most of the characters are quite sophisticated and are a listening joy for adults as well as children. This audio track was created by the Muchly Fun Players and a lot of fun and entertainment went into it. Please Enjoy the Experience!
