But when Odd Thomas and company stop to spend the night, they discover that there’s more to this secluded haven than meets the eye—and that between life and death, there is something more frightening than either.“Koontz gives [Odd Thomas] wit, good humor, a familiarity with the dark side of humanity—and moral outrage.” —USA Today“Supernatural thrills with a side of laughs.” —The Denver Post

Got all excited in the early pages at the mention of Moonlight Bay. I thought Koontz was FINALLY going to give us a return to the story of Christopher Snow, a character I liked even better than Odd Thomas. No, apparently, they just drove past on the way to Harmony Corners. Nobody there who particularly caught my interest, so I moved on. Might as well face it. Chris, his other fans, and me have been abandoned.
